you had set me free

so I went to the sky

I implored the stars

and they came to my eyes

just for you

but I could not come back

unallowed to return

you closed on me this door

so I'm with you no more

here while you're all I want

for you were not blunt,

too tender and caring

too much of yourself

so that with your parting

I'm still here, more enamoured?

And now the stars laugh

going back to the sky

here now I just bide,

I just sit and wait,

the stars can all see-

they just laugh toward me.
